1. 5/8? Pressure treated floor deck with pressure treated floor joists spaced every 12?.
2. 5/8 Pressure treated pine siding that has been kiln dried after treatment.
3. All exterior trim is wood and pressure treated.
4. All Perma-last Premium buildings carry a lifetime warranty against rot and termite damage.
5. We use heavy duty steel strap hinges for our doors, unlike the continuous hinge often seen on today?s mass produced buildings. The steel hinges costs us more, but we have learned through years in the business a higher cost is easier to explain than poor quality. If the continuous hinge was such a great idea I would think wooden fence companies would have caught onto the rage.
6. All Perma-last buildings come with a vent and a starter loft. Any options are up to you and are simply cosmetic, not structural. We build the building to meet code which saves you the hidden cost upgrades.
7. We use treated wood. Why? Because buildings rot from the ground up and if you plan on living in your home five years or longer your home value will not diminish because you have a storage building that needs to be demolished because of decay. We use the same treatment process that is used in foods the EPA approves.

We also offer vinyl buildings for neighborhoods that require vinyl, and we can customize your building with windows and doors to your specifications.
